North Korean Human Rights Week
Selasa, 1 Sep 2015
North Korea is one of the most repressive countries in the world. A United Nations Commission of Inquiry found last year that crimes against humanity are ongoing in the country--torture, deprivations of life and food, enforced disappearance of citizens from other countries, among others. North Koreans who are caught attempting to escape face torture, prison, and sometimes death.
Join the Citizens’ Alliance for North Korean Human Rights (NKHR) and the Institute for Policy Research and Advocacy (ELSAM) for North Korean Human Rights Week as we show solidarity with the victims of the North Korean regime. As the international community continues taking action to improve the lives of North Koreans, the people of Indonesia can be a strong voice for universal human rights.
